Ninja Academy Student
This is the lowest ninja rank these students are taught basic jutsu and when they master those they can graduate to become actual ninja.
Genin
This is the next ninja rank these ninja have all knowledge of basic jutsu and do C & D rank missions.
Chuunin
Chuunin are the basic ninja of the village. They can become field doctors or teachers. They are Genin who were promoted for their display of intelligence, strength, and knowledge.
Special Jounin
Special Jounin are ninja who have gained jounin level skill in one area of ninja art. They achieve this rank through official appointment.
Jounin
Jounin are the fist rank under hokage. These ninja are highly skilled in all jutsu and arts. They also like Special Jounin achieve their rank through official appointment. They usually serve as squad commanders for missions.
Hokage
The Hokage is the strongest ninja in the hidden village. They are the leader and the pillar of the village they demonstrate strength and respect. There are a total of 5 Kage throughout the different hidden villages.
